The Marshall Square Resource Network (MSRN) is a broad, bold, place-based coalition of over 60 nonprofits, businesses, and government entities that engages, educates, and makes transformative neighborhood improvements. Through its work, MSRN counters historic inequities and creates a community where all families can thrive. MSRN’s plan focuses on cultivating conditions for a vibrant neighborhood with community wealth building at the core of its strategy. Dedicated committees refine MSRN’s approach and support implementation of its goals in partnership with local residents. To date, the plan has leveraged over $16 million in investments for neighborhood infrastructure and new construction. That includes the acquisition and capital improvements at MSRN anchor sites, as well as enhancements to commercial corridors such as beautification, physical improvements, green space creation. The plan also included grants for small businesses and collective impact infrastructure and programming focused on health, education, peace, and community response.
